CPR & AED CERTIFICATION

Walworth Fire/Rescue offers CPR & AED classes for local businesses, schools, and healthcare facilities. We also offer our classes to citizens throughout the surrounding communities.

HEARTSAVER CPR & AED CERTIFICATION / First Aid

HEARTSAVER is one of the two certification classes that we offer. HEARTSAVER is a curriculum that is provided by the American Heart Association. In this course, you will learn how to perform CPR and use an AED (automated external defibrillator). You will also be taught the Heimlich maneuver to relive someone that is choking. (Recommended for Citizens) 

Cost of this course: $35.00 this will include your HEARTSAVER Certification Card 

BLS (Basic Life Support) CERTIFICATION

BLS is the second certification class that we offer. BLS is a curriculum that is provided by the American Heart Association and is designed for healthcare professionals. In this course you will learn how to give CPR, use an AED (automated external defibrillator), effective ventilation, heimlich maneuver to relive someone that is choking, and the importance of multiresucer CPR.

Cost of this course: $35.00 this will include your BLS Certification Card 

FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAM

During NFPA's Fire Prevention Week, Walworth Fire/Rescue visits the schools in our Walworth Community to show the importance of fire safety. Learn more about National Fire Prevention Week at Fire Prevention Week (FPW) (nfpa.org).
